If the Hualapais' plans may damage the environment, I hate that no one can step in to stop it. It seems to me Native Americans are for some reason expected to respect the environment more than anyone...

Did Buzz have to pay the $75 I wonder?Meanwhile the floor of this thing is glass. Glass scratches fairly easily. Do people have to wear special booties or something? I'm picturing the view through the...

Re: The Skywalk bridge over the Grand Canyon!

I think I read somewhere there were little booties you put over your shoes. I can't believe you have to spend like $150 for 2 people to walk on the thing, and you can't even take a picture! do they...

Re: The Skywalk bridge over the Grand Canyon!

I'll blame CNN for their faulty reporting then. They were questioning the reason for that silly rule. If I were courageous (nuts) enough to do it, I'd certainly want my camera to record the occasion.

I wonder if the $50 bus ride is the only way to get there? If so, I probably won't be viewing this attraction. I can maybe see $25 but not $75.

Re: The Skywalk bridge over the Grand Canyon!

Jujuju2, the way I understand it, the $50 is to enter that part of the park that is the Indian reservation where the skywalk is located. I don't think it has anything to do with a bus ride. You must...
